Automatic Polyelectrolyte Preparation Plant PAP-3C
The Automatic Polyelectrolyte Preparation Plant PAP-3C is manufactured in stainless steel.
- PAP 3-C is composed of three chambers: mixing, maturation and the third one that picks the mature polyelectrolyte in optimal condition for dosing.
- Each chamber has 30 minutes retention time.
- PAP 3-C is armed with a flow-meter-inlet.
- It is equipped with an anticondensation duct.
- It has double helix to favour the polyelectrolyte mixture.

Polyelectrolyte Preparation Plant
The automatic polyelectrolyte plant (PAP) allows the preparation (mixing with water), maturation and dosage of the granulated polyelectrolyte to be carried out automatically in a continuous and simple way.
The Toro Equipment’s PAP is an equipment composed by a main tank with rectangular shape made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass (FRP) where the the polymer is prepared and maturated. It has an upper maneuvering apperture and a lower drainage nozzle.
The dosage of the polyelectrolyte is made in the polyelectrolyte dosage hopper which is made of stainless steel and situated over the plant’s tank.
Its installation is necessary in all those applications that require polyelectrolyte dosage for the flocculation of all kinds of industrial and urban waste water.

Emulsified Polyelectrolyte Preparation Plant
The Emulsified Polyelectrolyte Preparation Plant (PAPE) of Toro Equipment is an automatic and compact equipment where takes place the maturation-dosage of liquid polymers.
The PAPE is formed by a main tank manufactured in FRP. In addition, consists of a dispersant to achieve the optimum concentration of liquid polymer, and two dosing pumps, one to introduce the liquid poly into the reservoir and another to get the mixture to use it.
This tank is ready to receive the emulsified polymer solution, which means less time for maturation of the polymer in the interior of the tank to subsequently be dosed to the flocculation processes of urban waste water treatment and industrial.

Sludge Conditioning Tank
Sludge conditioning is carried out in order to facilitate water loss during mechanical drying, making it more efficient and cost-effective. The addition of chemicals reduces the water content of sludge.
The Sludge Conditioning Tank (TAF) by Toro Equipment is a vertical, cylindral FRP (fiberglass reinforced polyester) tank than allows the chemical conditioning of sludge greatly facilitates the filtration and settling processes.
The floccules are achieved by means of the addition of flocculent reagents and maintaining the mix in a state of light agitation over a certain period.
Once pretreatment of the sludge has been completed, dewatering by means of Filter Press.
Advantages
- An agitator is used for sludge agitation and mixing. The operation of the agitator is controlled from the general switchboard of the plant.
- The FRP tank has got a visible measurement strip to enable sludge levels to be monitored visually.
- The conditioning tank is equipped with level gauging systems to indicate the sludge level at a given time:
- Minimum level: to ensure that the agitator is not operating when the tank is empty.
- Maximum level: to ensure that sludge does not overflow.
Lime Dosing Hopper
The Lime Hopper (TDC) is an equipment made of stainless steel that facilitates lime dosing for the conditioning of sludge produced in wastewater treatment.
The addition of lime makes the sludge inert and increases its porosity.
TDC manufactured by Toro Equipment are specially designed for efficient and reliable dosing.
Discharge takes place directly into a sludge conditioning tank.
Advantages
- The dosing unit is fitted with a vibrator.
- Solid metering apparatus to ensure that the vibrator does not operate without lime.
- To prevent obstruction of the dosing outlet, the lime hopper is fitted with an air blower system.
Hopper Big Bag
The Hopper Big Bag (TBB) manufactured by Toro Equipment is a carbon steel equipment that allows to carry out the lime dosing for the sludge conditioning from waste water treatment.
The lime bag is hanging on the top (approximately 800 kg of lime), the bag hole falls on the input hopper into the tank being dosified.
For the dosage of lime has a worm with moto-reducer.
The unload is done directly on a conditioning tank sludge.
The dosing incorporates an agitator by chain to avoid vaults and a meter of solids to avoid that the moto-reducer work without lime.
Lime Silo
Toro Equipment provides silos for storage of calcium carbonate or other powdered products that are used in water treatment plants to dose in depurative treatments such as flocculation, correction of the pH and the sludge dewatering.
