Mechanical Aerator
The Fuchs self aspirating and blower assisted aerators are used around the world in industrial and municipal applications including Lagoons, Aeration Basins, Oxidation Ditches, and Retrofits to existing systems. The high precision shaft design utilizes extremely tight tolerances and eliminates the need for a lower guide or bearing. The result is a lubrication free system with very low maintenance requirements. Each aerator can be installed on steel walkways, concrete walls, lagoon shores, or provided with pontoons as required to accommodate the aerator. The mounting design allows for easy retrieval of the aerator for maintenance and inspection. The standard material of construction for the shaft and propeller is 304 SSTL. Optional materials may be provided if required.
Zi-Biox® Package Wastewater Treatment Plants
Kusters Water offers a complete line of packaged biological wastewater treatment systems. Standard Plants are designed to operate in the extended aeration mode of activated sludge, providing 24-36 hours of aeration retention time allowing the plant to operate effetively over widely varying flow rates and waste loadings while providing lower overall solids production. When required, the system design can be modified to provide advanced forms of treatment, such as phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N) removal.
Zi-Biox® Trickling Filter Distributor
Kusters Water offers a complete line of rotary distributors for use in industry and municipal applications. All Kusters Water distributors are computer designed to provide a uniform flow distribution, high BOD removals and a stable effluent. Every Kusters Water distributor arm is tapered to maintain fluid velocity. The arms are available in two crossectional designs: Rectangular arms equipped with side mounted nozzles or Trapezoidal arms with integral flow deflectors. Optional direct drives are available to provide more controllable wetting rates (SK Values) resulting in improved filter performance.
All Styles are available in two or four arm designs and manufactured in hot dip galvanized steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. Every distributor is designed to ensure low maintenance, provide energy efficiency, and deliver consistent performance that result in lower power and maintenance costs, and years or trouble free operation.
Zi-Biox® Membrane Bioreactor
Answering the widespread need for a compact, cost-efficient, customizable, complete front-to-back water treatment system, Kusters Water proudly introduces its Zi-Biox® Membrane Bioreactor (MBR). Kusters treatment system begins with thorough assessment of the customer’s wastewater, organizational resources, physical environment, legislative landscape, and infrastructure. Once all players reach a consensus regarding these key factors and project goals, Kusters draws on its considerable in-house engineering, design, manufacturing, and fabrication capabilities to custom-tailor a Zi-Biox® MBR system for the application at hand.
